If you are planning a wedding in DHA, a few things are specific to the area. Planned roads and lawns give photographers good outdoor spots, so ask them to fit a short couple shoot between functions if you want one. Expect house lawns and driveways for dholki, mayun and nikkah at home, alongside marquees in the phase commercial areas and along the main boulevards.
Before you accept an offer, think through how a photographer will work here. Evening traffic on the main roads into DHA builds up on wedding nights. Ask the photographer and makeup artist to plan for it. Agree a shot list for family portraits, since that is where time runs out. On Bandobast, 1 photographer cover DHA, and a request reaches them along with others willing to travel.
Give vendors the phase and sector, not just "DHA". Travel time between phases changes setup timings.
Book photography as soon as your dates are fixed, and agree a timeline with the team about a week before the event.
Travel time between the getting-ready location and the venue shapes the photographer's whole schedule.
Indoor halls need lighting equipment, while lawns and marquees depend on daylight and night lighting.
Yes. 1 photographer on Bandobast list DHA as a service area, and others travel from across the city. Planned roads and lawns give photographers good outdoor spots, so ask them to fit a short couple shoot between functions if you want one.
As soon as your dates are fixed, since strong teams take only one event per slot. Evening traffic on the main roads into DHA builds up on wedding nights. Ask the photographer and makeup artist to plan for it.
Share the getting-ready location, the venue and the timings so they can plan travel and light. Give vendors the phase and sector, not just "DHA". Travel time between phases changes setup timings. Drone shots may need permission from the venue or the area's management.
Yes. The phases are spread out, so vendors plan travel and setup around the phase. Mention the phase and sector in your request.
Yes. Marquees and banquet halls sit in the commercial areas of several phases and along the main roads. Post a request and the venues with your date free will send offers.
It depends on how many events you need covered, the size of the team and what you get at the end, like films, drone footage or albums. Photographers on Bandobast list a starting price, and you can name your budget in a request.
Often yes. One team covering both usually costs less and works more smoothly on the day. Ask for both in your request and compare offers.
You pay Bandobast by bank transfer, not the vendor directly. We hold the money until your event is done and only then pay the vendor, so if something goes wrong before the day, your money hasn't left.
Photographers & videographers who work in DHA often cover these areas too.
